Cracked and broken tiles on a wet roof after a storm

Emergency roof repairs

When the roof is letting water in, the first job is stopping it. We make the roof safe and watertight — tarpaulins, temporary covers, re-fixing what's loose — then come back for the permanent repair when the weather allows.

Call-out from £150 plus the repair

What to do right now

  • Move anything valuable away from the leak and put a container under it
  • If water is near lights or sockets, switch that circuit off at the consumer unit
  • Don't go on the roof or up a ladder in wind or rain
  • Take photos from the ground and from inside for your insurer
  • Call us

What we do on an emergency call-out

We attend, make the roof safe and watertight, photograph the damage for your insurance claim, and give you a written price for the permanent repair. The call-out fee is stated when you ring, before we set off.

Storm damage and insurance

Storm damage is normally covered by buildings insurance. We provide the photographs, a written report and an itemised quote your insurer will need, and we're used to working with loss adjusters. See insurance work.
