Who we are

What we collect and why

• Quote requests and contact forms: your name, phone number, email, postcode, details of the roof and any photos or competitor quotes you upload. We use these to prepare your quote, arrange a survey and follow it up. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• Survey bookings: the same contact details plus the appointment time. Used to attend and confirm the appointment.
• Saved (unfinished) quotes: answers you give part-way through the quote tool are stored so you can resume them. Unfinished quotes are deleted after 90 days.
• Technical data: our hosting provider logs IP addresses and request details for security. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Who sees it

Our own staff, and the services we use to run the business: website hosting, email delivery and file storage. Postcodes you type into the quote tool are sent to a UK postcode lookup service to identify the town. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.

How long we keep it

Quote and job records are kept for six years after the last contact, as required for guarantee and accounting purposes. Unfinished quotes: 90 days. You can ask us to delete your data sooner where we have no legal reason to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email markholmes2004@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Photos and uploads

Photos of your roof and any competitor quotes are stored securely and used only to price your job. They are deleted when the quote record is deleted.
