Ponding, blistered felt on a 1980s extension and attached garage replaced with a warm-roof build-up and a single-sheet EPDM membrane with new aluminium edge trims.
The job
Two tired felt roofs that had been patched three times. Stripped to the deck, deck repaired where it had rotted at the outlet, PIR insulation added and one seamless EPDM sheet fitted across both.
What it involved
- Strip old felt and dispose
- Replace rotten decking at the outlet
- 100 mm PIR warm-roof insulation
- Single-sheet EPDM, fully adhered
- Aluminium drip and wall trims, new outlet
